DAY 01 : DENPASAR – LABUHAN BAJO – RINCA – KOMODO ISLAND (L & D)
Arrive at Komodo Airport in Labuhan Bajo, west Flores, meet with our representative, and transfer to the pier of Labuan Bajo for Rinca Island. Lunch on board, about 2 ½ hours sail to the Island of Komodo Dragon, start your trekking, walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo Dragon; you’ll find not just the Dragons but also many wild animals like deer, wild buffalo, long-tailed macaque, and wild pig also numerous of birds. At the same time, keep your eyes looking up as sometimes you’ll find the young Komodo Dragons in the trees. A local ranger will lead you through this natural preservation. Late afternoon sailing directly to Kalong Island, nearby Komodo Island, to see the hundreds of flying foxes set out from the mangrove tree at 06-07 pm. Lastly, dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 02 : KOMODO – PINK BEACH – MANTA POINT – LABUHAN BAJO (B, L & D)
After having breakfast in your boat, sail directly to Loh Liang, the ranger station on Komodo Island. Passing through many small islands will take 2 ½ hours to reach the pier of Komodo Island. Next, after registering, start to take basic trekking to see GIANT RIZARD / KOMODO DRAGON and other wild animals such as Timor deer, wild pig, wild chicken, and many tropical birds. Please keep your look at any directions as sometimes you’ll also find young Komodo Dragon hanging over the trees. A local ranger will lead you during the trek.
Return to the boat to Pink Beach for snorkeling. I was swimming and relaxing. It’s a spectacular and unspoiled coral reef and much-colored fish. Sail toward MANTA POINT to explore huge Mantas by snorkeling or even watching from your boat trip (can’t be guaranteed if neither is good like wave and current are strong). Lunch will be provided on board. In the late afternoon, return to Labuan Bajo harbor and transfer to your preferred hotel for overnight and dinner.
DAY 03 : LABUHAN BAJO – DENPASAR (B)
After breakfast, take short city sightseeing with the Batu Cermin ( Mirror Stone ) Cave. The cave is 75 by 75 meters large and contains stalactites and stalagmites. Some tunnels are narrow and dark, but in others, sunlight falls. Then the local market before taking you to the airport for a flight to Denpasar.
