Day 1: MEDAN - PARAPAT (Lunch, Dinner)
Upon your arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport (KNO), our representative/tour guide will greet you. We will then depart from Medan to Parapat, a town located on the shores of Lake Toba, one of the largest crater lakes in the world. The journey takes approximately 4 hours by car and along the way, you will pass through various plantations including palm oil, cocoa, rubber, tea, clove, and cinnamon. In Pematang Siantar, we will visit KWAM IM TEMPLE and a PATEN SHOP. Afterward, we will proceed to Parapat, check in to the hotel, and you will have free time for the rest of the day. Overnight in Parapat.
Day 2: PARAPAT - SAMOSIR ISLAND - BERASTAGI (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, we will take a ferry trip across the crystal clear waters of Lake Toba to reach Samosir Island, a large volcanic island in the middle of the lake. Samosir Island holds great significance as it is the center of the Batak Toba culture, and many artifacts of this unique culture can be found on the island. During the visit to the village of Tomok, you will see traditional Batak Tobanese roof houses and learn about the history of the Sidabutar Kings at the museum. There will also be an opportunity for shopping for local arts and crafts souvenirs. Returning to Parapat, we will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey to Berastagi, located in the Karo Highlands. Along the way, we will visit Simarjarunjung and see the Simalungun Batak Long House, also known as Rumah Bolon, in Pematang Purba. We will also stop at Sipisopiso Waterfall. Upon arrival in Berastagi, you will check in to the hotel and have free time to explore. Overnight in Berastagi.
Day 3: BERASTAGI - MEDAN (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the flower and fruit market in Berastagi. Enjoy the panoramic view from Gundaling Hill and catch sight of Mount Sibayak and Mount Sinabung. You can even opt for horse riding, at your own expense. On our way back to Medan, we will pass through Sembahe Village and visit Maimoon Palace, the Grand Mosque, and go shopping at Pasar Ikan Traditional Market, Medan Fair Plaza, and Central Market. After dinner, you will check in to the hotel in Medan. Overnight in Medan.
Day 4: HOTEL - AIRPORT (Breakfast)
After breakfast, you will have free time until your transfer to the airport. This marks the end of our service.
