DAY 01 : MAKASSAR (L, D)
Welcome to Makassar! You will be greeted by your tour guide/ driver cum guide on arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar Airport. Lunch at a local restaurant and then visit Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi. Enjoy the atmosphere & beautiful city of Makassar. After that, check in to the hotel for accommodation. Hence, dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Lastly, free program and enjoy your Makasar Toraja Package.
DAY 02 : MAKASSAR – TORAJA (B, L, D)
Firstly, breakfast at the hotel. Without delay, we will start our Makasar Toraja Package for a visit to Tana Toraja or Toraja Land by private air conditioning transport. Tana Toraja is a district of South Sulawesi located in a mountainous area with a high of about 600 - 700 m above sea level. In addition, it is a long distance from Makassar airport, about 328 km, and takes approximately 8-9 hours. After that, lunch is served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, the second town of Makassar. Late afternoon, arrive in Toraja, check in hotel, and free program.
DAY 03 : TANA TORAJA TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, a full day exploring Toraja to see the unique Culture and tradition by visiting at first, Lemo The Typical Torajan Grave on the rock mountain with effigies standing in front of it, and this grave, according to Torajan history, was made in the 17th Century when the trojan people began to know the tool from iron. than Suaya the typical of Baby Grave which is buried in the Big tree and Beautiful scenic in around. Proceed to Kate’ – Kesu,’ the Torajan village with their Traditional houses, and this place is also for the handicraft center (Sculptor). Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Toraja, and after lunch, the tour continues to Londa Natural Cave as Function as Grave, and the late afternoon return to the hotel and free program.
DAY 04 : TANA TORAJA TOUR (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit some exciting objects: Bori Parinding, The Megalith Stone, the Sa’dan Traditional Village, and the Center of Traditional Weaving. Continue up to Batu Tumoga to see the spectacular panorama around Toraja. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant, and late afternoon return to the hotel and free program.
DAY 05 : TORAJA - SENGKANG ( B.L.D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Sengkang (Buginese Area), about 185 km from Toraja. With the road up & down and its curve surrounded by Beautiful National Park, this trip is more adventurous. Lunch is served at Palopo or Sengkang. Arrive in Sengkang and check in at the hotel. After a few minutes of rest, depart to Tempe Lake in Sengkang by Traditional Boat to see the people's activities and floating houses in the lake. Check-in at the hotel and your dinner is served in traditional Buginese style. Lastly, back to the hotel and free program.
DAY 06 : SENGKANG - BIRA (B.L.D)
After breakfast at the hotel, take a city tour by visiting the local people in Sengkang who are breeding & processing silk. After that, depart to Bira in the south; on the road, you can stop in several places to see some kind of plantation, like rubber and paper. Vanilla, etc.- and lunch is served at Sinjai District. After lunch, the trip proceeds to Tanete, Tana Beru, and in the late afternoon, arriving at Bira Beach and checking in at the hotel.
DAY 07 : BIRA (B.L.D)
After breakfast at the hotel, free at leisure, you can relax, dive, a snorkel (optional price), swim, bathe on the beautiful white sand beach, or sail to the isle by traditional boat—besides, lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 08 : BIRA - MAKASSAR (B.L.D)
After breakfast at the hotel, they left Bira for Makassar. You can stop at Tana Beru, the Centre of Traditional Boat's building up on the way. The local people make a traditional boat ( Phinisi) with exceptional skills as an inheritance from their ancestors (Generation to Generation). Again, stop at Je'ne Ponto to see the locals make the sea salt with traditional methods. Lunch is serveat Makassar. Arrive in Makassar, check in at the hotel, have dinner at a local restaurant, and have a free program.
DAY 09: TRANSFER AIRPORT (B)
